I went here late and luckily they still open. I was at my peak craving of steak. So, I went here having my Steak. Staff welcoming. The steak that times came with promotion set. Below were my catch on that day. Everything delicious. My craving satisfied. Thank you for answering my call and open till late
Dining in the ship atmosphere. I’d say this place had one of the best escargots in town, highly recommended to try! Lobster was so fresh because they gonna let you choose from the tank. Other dishes were average.
Although the restaurant has been around for a while, this was my first visit—and it didn’t disappoint. The interior has an old, vintage charm that’s really beautiful. Each dish was generously portioned and full of flavor. A great spot for a satisfying meal with a touch of nostalgia.
After reading some of the reviews, I was really nervous about eating here, but as it was close, what I wanted to eat and liked the look of it thought I'd give it a try. It's absolutely wonderful inside, the uniforms clean, new and cute and the food delicious. I had the fillet with prawns (prawns huge and perfectly cooked), steak huge too, and my husband had the fillet steak done beautifully. To start, they brought us hot rolls (delicious) and salad, vinaigrette, or thousand island, all very tasty. The bottle of house red (£20) was very nice too. It wasn't all perfect, but for experience, location, price, and ambience, it was great. The service was good too. We had 3 people waiting on us, and they were all good. If you're looking for a modern Michelin star experience, don't go here, but for a happy nostalgic, old style experience, it can't be beat.
After all these years / decades, the claim of being the best steak in town is still valid. Juicy, tender and flavourful - just the way I like it. The service staff were attentive, the prices reasonable.
